The 32-year-old woman died of a lethal illness, before marrying her boyfriend in a hospital.
A couple who was getting married in a hospital in Zhenzhou, Henan, China, where the bride was hospitalized with a lethal disease could not complete the ceremony because the wife died moments before saying “yes, I want,” according to information from China News that the British newspaper Daily Mail echoed.
Doctors could not do anything to save the life of Xiao Hui, a 32-year-old woman who had had myeloid leukemia for eight years. Yang Feng, a 27-year-old man, met his girlfriend during a trip he made in 2016.
A month later, the girl’s condition worsened and she was hospitalized. Since then, her beloved visited her frequently and spent much of her income on medical treatment.
Despite having been married on one occasion, shortly before she died Xiao Hui assured that Yang Feng had been the best of her life. Several reporters tried to document a romantic link and, instead, recorded the emotional moment when the marriage could not be certified.
